Use of SİMA İmza expanded in public procurement – NEW DEVELOPMENT

The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President has introduced the option of electronically signing documents via SİMA İmza on the Unified Internet Portal for Public Procurement.
AZE Finance reports that the new option is aimed at further improving electronic document management in the public procurement process and expanding the range of electronic services available to users.
Until now, users of the Unified Internet Portal for Public Procurement could electronically sign documents using ASAN İmza and SİMA Token. In addition to these existing electronic signature tools, users can now also use SİMA İmza.
Currently, the head of a supplier company can electronically sign the company’s financial statements, as well as an application related to obtaining a certificate from the State Tax Service, using SİMA İmza. This will allow users to benefit from more convenient and flexible electronic solutions when signing the relevant documents.
The introduction of the new option helps simplify the process of electronically signing documents in public procurement and enables related operations to be carried out more quickly. At the same time, the development is important in terms of reducing the time spent by procurement participants on signing documents and minimizing the administrative burden.
Increasing the number of electronic signature options gives portal users the opportunity to choose the signing method that best suits their needs and capabilities. This not only makes electronic services in the field of public procurement more accessible, but also enables processes to be carried out more efficiently in the digital environment.
It should be noted that the development of electronic services in public procurement is aimed at making procurement procedures more transparent, efficient and convenient. The addition of SİMA İmza functionality to the portal can also be considered one of the steps taken in this direction.
