Registration of a natural person
This service includes registration of a natural person. As a result of the service, the individual is registered and given a certificate. In order to be registered, an individual or his authorized representative submits an "Application for registration of a natural person" to the tax authority.
Accounting is carried out within 1 day after the "Application for accounting of a natural person" and other required documents are received by the tax authority (except for accounting of natural persons in electronic format) and the certificate of accounting of an individual is sent to the taxpayer's electronic cabinet. If it is mentioned in the application that the tax payer will issue the certificate in a paper carrier, the certificate shall be submitted to the individual or his authorized representative by signing the appropriate journal. This certificate is issued by the tax authority to an individual once and is kept by him.
The following documents are attached to the "Application for registration of a natural person":
- For natural persons provided for in Article 33.4 of the Tax Code - a copy of the document confirming the identity of the natural person who wants to be registered;
- for the heads of family farms - a copy of the document confirming the identity of the natural person who wants to be registered and the certificate issued to his head and family members about the registration of the family farm in municipal bodies;
- for land owners - a copy of the document confirming the identity of the natural person who wants to be registered, the document confirming the ownership right to the land and "The plan and size of the land plot".
The identity document is an identity card for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and for foreigners and stateless persons, a temporary or permanent residence permit, refugee card issued by the State Migration Service.
For persons under the age of 18 (TINs are not issued to minors), the identity card of the applicant, the decision of the guardianship authority based on the consent of the parents, adoptive parents or guardian, and in the absence of such consent, the decision of the court are submitted together with the application.
The application can be submitted to tax payers' service centers (with the exception of service centers in Baku city and administrative territorial units where "ASAN Service" centers are located), "ASAN Service" centers, and "SME houses" taking into account the territorial principle. Individuals who will be VAT payers must submit the "Application for registration of the taxpayer for the purpose of value added tax" together with the application.
At the same time, the service is fully electronic and is carried out through the Internet Tax Administration Portal. At the same time, the mentioned service through the Call Center (195-1) is partially electronic (except for media subjects, landowners and heads of family farming).
