There will be 13 non-working days in March

In March 2026, a total of 13 non-working days are предусмотрed in Azerbaijan in connection with official holidays and rest days.
We inform that since March 8, International Women’s Day, falls on a Sunday, March 9 will also be considered a non-working day.
In addition, there will be extended holidays in March due to Nowruz and Ramadan holidays.
In accordance with the requirements of the Labour Code, additional rest days have been designated due to public holidays coinciding with Saturdays and Sundays.
Accordingly, March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are considered non-working days in connection with the Nowruz holiday. As March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively, March 25 and 26 will also be non-working days.
As a result of the Ramadan holiday on March 20 and 21 coinciding with the Nowruz holidays, March 27 and 30 will also be considered non-working days.
March 28 and 29 fall on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Consequently, March 25, 26, 27, and 30 will also be non-working days.
Thus, from March 20 to March 30 inclusive, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country.
Overall, a total of 13 non-working days will be recorded in Azerbaijan in March 2026.
