Vehicles that are not cleared through customs within six months will become state property

Goods and vehicles that are not cleared within 6 (six) months from the date of crossing the customs border will be transferred into state ownership.
This is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Customs Code, which is included in the agenda of the plenary session of the Milli Majlis to be held on May 1.
Accordingly, goods and vehicles that are not cleared or whose clearance is not completed within 6 (six) months from the date of crossing the customs border will be transferred into state ownership.
Under the current legislation, goods and vehicles confiscated based on a court decision that has entered into legal force in connection with criminal cases and other offenses in the field of customs, as well as those relinquished by a person in favor of the state, are transferred into state ownership.
