Changes to company registration information in Azerbaijan will be made electronically

The State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy has created the opportunity to register changes made to the constituent documents of limited liability companies (LLCs) and subsequent changes in the facts recorded in the register electronically. This was announced by the deputy head of the main department for registration and accounting of taxpayers of the institution, Husniyya Abdullayeva.
According to her, it is now possible to apply to the tax authority electronically for registration of changes made to the constituent documents of LLCs with local and foreign investment and subsequent changes in the facts recorded in the register: "One of the issues discussed within the working group of the commission on the business environment and international ratings was the introduction of a new digital service for electronic registration of changes in the registration data of LLCs.
As is known, until now, only the initial registration of LLCs was carried out electronically. After legal, organizational and technical measures taken by the State Tax Service, companies can now apply electronically for electronic registration of changes made to the constituent documents and subsequent changes in the facts recorded in the register."
The possibility of registering changes to the registration data of LLCs electronically is used by owners of enhanced electronic signatures, and the electronic data change is carried out within 3 business days: "During the application, the changed information (name, legal address, composition of the Supervisory Board, legal representative, founders of the LLC, authorized capital, changes to the charter) is filled in the electronic application form posted on the Internet tax office, a scanned copy of the documents confirming the change (auditor's opinion or bank receipt) is attached to the application, the application and documents are approved with the enhanced electronic signature of the founders and the manager. The change and decision to the charter are automatically generated, and the new charter, extract from the register and certificate are sent to the legal entity's electronic cabinet. This innovation was implemented within the framework of the process of improving the practice of establishing a business in the country, taking into account advanced international experience. Azerbaijan has one of the best practices in the world in the business registration process."
