The revenues and expenditures of the 2026 budget have been announced

The projected revenues and expenditures of the state budget for 2026 have been announced.
This was reflected in the Ministry of Finance’s “Explanation on the Preliminary Indicators of the State and Consolidated Budgets of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026.”
For the upcoming year, state budget revenues are projected at 38,423.0 million manats, equivalent to 28.6% of GDP. Of this amount, 42.6% or 16,350.0 million manats will come from the oil and gas sector, while 57.4% or 22,073.0 million manats will come from the non-oil and gas sector.
State budget expenditures for 2026 are forecasted at 41,548.6 million manats (31.0% of GDP). Of this, 24,771.7 million manats or 59.6% will go to current expenditures, 14,319.3 million manats or 34.5% to capital expenditures, and 2,457.6 million manats or 5.9% to servicing public debt and obligations.
It should be noted that state budget revenues for 2025 are projected at 38,356.0 million manats, while expenditures are forecasted at 41,407.6 million manats. Thus, in 2026, budget revenues are expected to increase by 67 million manats (0.17%), while expenditures are projected to rise by 141 million manats (0.34%).
