The number of taxpayers in Azerbaijan has increased by nearly 5%

As of October 1 of this year, there are 1,653,132 taxpayers in Azerbaijan.
The forecast for personal income tax in Azerbaijan has been increased by 29%.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, this represents a 4.8% increase compared to October 1 of last year.
Among all taxpayers, 86.9% are individuals, while 13.1% are legal entities and other organizations. Over the past year, the number of individual entrepreneurs has grown by 4.5%, and the number of institutions, enterprises, and organizations — by 7.2%.
By the end of September, the number of registered commercial entities had increased by 7.8% year-on-year, reaching 200,806 units. Of these, 91.9% are limited liability companies (LLCs), 1.1% are joint-stock companies, 1.1% are cooperatives, and the rest are established in other forms.
In just the first nine months of this year, 10,724 commercial entities have been registered with the state, 88.5% of which are locally owned and 11.5% with foreign investment.
85% of commercial entities were registered electronically, and during the reporting period, 96.3% of locally owned LLCs were registered through the e-registration system.
