The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the “Model Regulation on Industrial Zones” approved on 13 May 2015.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decision in this regard. According to the decision, a state fee—set by the Law “On State Fees”—will be charged for issuing a registration certificate to an industrial zone resident.
The managing organization must inform the applicant, verbally or in writing, within 2 business days about the obligation to pay the state fee for issuing the registration certificate. The applicant must pay the fee within 5 business days from the date of receiving the notification and submit the payment confirmation document to the managing organization.
After the applicant submits the payment confirmation, the registration certificate of the industrial zone resident must be issued or sent by registered mail within 2 business days. If the payment document is not submitted within the period specified in clause 8.6-1 of the Regulation, the managing organization cancels the registration certificate and notifies the applicant within 2 business days.
