“Every year, the indexation of labor pensions is carried out in accordance with a relevant decree of the country’s President.”
This was stated by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Aliyev. In 2026, the indexation of pensions for 1.1 million citizens is also planned:
“The indexation will be implemented at approximately 9 percent. The mechanism is applied in line with the growth rate of the average monthly wage for the previous year, as announced by the State Statistics Committee (SSC). Once these figures are announced by the Committee, the exact amount of indexation will be determined. In addition, the indexation of pension capital recorded in the individual accounts of working persons is also planned for 2026.”
In 2026, involving the population in active employment measures will remain one of the main priorities for both the Ministry and the State Employment Agency:
“The Agency forecasts that nearly 400,000 people will be involved in active employment measures in 2026.”
