State-owned enterprises will start paying dividends from their profits starting next year

In Azerbaijan, state-owned enterprises will start paying dividends from their net profits starting next year.
This was reported with reference to the Ministry of Finance.
According to the dividend policy rules, state-owned enterprises will pay dividends to the state budget in the amount of 30% of their net profit. Dividend payments will be forecast starting from the current year and will be transferred to the state budget beginning in 2027.
State-owned enterprises with low profits, those temporarily exempted by the head of state, companies whose shares are listed on foreign stock exchanges, and enterprises whose total capital is less than their charter capital will be exempt from paying dividends to the state budget for the relevant period.
