Law on electronic cigarettes comes into force — 5000 AZN fine
In Azerbaijan, fines have been established for the use, import, export, production, wholesale and retail sale, as well as possession for sale of electronic cigarettes. This was made possible after President Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses.
According to the amendments, the goods subject to the offense will be confiscated, and fines will be imposed as follows: individuals — from 350 to 500 AZN, officials — from 1,650 to 2,200 AZN, and legal entities — from 4,000 to 5,000 AZN.
The law enters into force on April 1, 2026.
