After the increase in the minimum wage, several allowances and pensions have been raised. One of the pensions where increases have been implemented this year is the one paid to individuals involved in vocational training.

He noted that, according to the Law on Employment, in Azerbaijan, individuals involved in vocational training receive a pension amounting to 50% of the minimum wage: "Since the minimum wage has been increased from 325 manats to 400 manats as of January 2025, the amount of this pension has also been raised. Previously, these citizens received a monthly amount of 162.5 manats, but now the pension has been increased to 200 manats. This means that the pension for individuals involved in vocational training has been increased by 14%."
"Proposals regarding increases in several other pensions are currently being prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers. These proposals are expected to be presented to the President in the second half of this month. This means that in the near future, there will also be increases in other allowances and pensions," emphasized V. Bayramov.
