New feature in “ƏMAS”: A sub-section on “Workplace Hazard Certification” has been created for employers

According to a statement from the State Labor Inspectorate Service, a new functionality has been introduced in the "Labor and Employment" sub-system of the Centralized Electronic Information System of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population (ƏMAS).
Under this new feature, employers can now not only submit copies of documents related to the results of workplace attestation to the State Labor Inspectorate Service but also enter the information contained in those documents into the “Hazardous Workplace Attestation” sub-section within the “Official Correspondence” section of the ƏMAS system.
For your information, according to the labor legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, employers are required to carry out workplace attestations to determine and improve occupational safety measures, production sanitation, and hygiene conditions, as well as to enhance labor productivity and work efficiency. These attestations are particularly necessary when applying advanced labor organization methods, including the introduction of new equipment or technologies. Copies of the documents reflecting the results of such attestations must be submitted to the State Labor Inspectorate Service within 10 working days.
