Azerbaijan’s National Accounting Software Bestbooks Has Been Launched ®
The Bestbooks accounting software, developed for small and medium-sized businesses as well as companies providing accounting services, has been launched.
Built in accordance with Azerbaijan’s tax legislation and accounting requirements, the platform brings together sales, expenses, inventory, payments, reporting, and other accounting operations in a single system. According to the company, the project’s main objective is to provide a solution tailored to the accounting needs of local businesses and simplify day-to-day financial operations.

Bestbooks has been developed for accounting and tax recordkeeping, taking into account the local tax environment, VAT rules, accounting requirements, and business practices. The system also provides a high level of protection for the security and confidentiality of financial data. The platform is designed to be user-friendly for both professional accountants and business owners without a specialized accounting background.
According to the product owners, the software adapts to a company’s existing business processes and allows users to continue working in ways they are already familiar with.
“When developing Bestbooks, we focused primarily on the real needs of Azerbaijani businesses. Bestbooks is available in two deployment models: a cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) model and an On-Premise version installed on a company’s own server. This allows each business to choose the option that best suits its operating model and internal requirements.
Data Security and Integration with Digital Services
Access to financial data on the platform is managed through role-based permissions. This means that each user can access only the information relevant to their responsibilities.
Bestbooks holds the relevant licence issued by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan for activities related to personal data information resources and systems. In addition, Bestbooks’ personal data information system is registered in the state registry.
The platform is also integrated with ASAN İmza, SİMA, and myGov, enabling users to access and work with government digital services through a single system.
