Updates in EMAS regarding employees under 18 years old

In the “Labor and Employment” subsystem (EMAS) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, a new feature has been implemented to protect the labor rights of employees under 18. According to the State Labor Inspection Service, it is technically impossible in the system to enter annual leave for employees in this age category for less than the period stipulated by law (42 calendar days for employees under 16, and 35 calendar days for employees aged 16–18).
At the same time, the system restricts entering working hours exceeding the limits set by legislation (24 hours per week for employees under 16, and 36 hours per week for employees aged 16–18).
This innovation aims to ensure that labor relations with employees aged 16–18 comply with legal requirements and that data in EMAS is correctly recorded.
Additionally, another functionality has been added to EMAS, allowing employees to obtain certificates in real time through this e-system not only for their main workplaces but also for any additional workplaces.
