The procedure for the transfer of state-owned fixed assets has been changed
President Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the State Program on Improving the Management of State Property in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The President signed a new decree in this regard.
Under the amendments, the transfer of state-owned fixed assets with an initial value exceeding AZN 5,000 per unit between government agencies and state-owned legal entities will be carried out based on decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, following the opinion of the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, except in cases determined by the President of Azerbaijan, including those provided for in Article 86 of the Law on Courts and Judges, under which the Ministry of Justice is responsible for the financial and material support of first-instance courts.
The transfer of state-owned fixed assets with an initial value of AZN 5,000 or less per unit between government agencies and state-owned legal entities will be carried out based on the decisions of the respective government bodies and state-owned legal entities, after obtaining the written consent of the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy.
